Les 7 sites (8 usines) s'étendent sur trois kilomètres en suivant le cours de la rivière Semène.

The seven sites (8 factories) run for three kilometers along the "Semène" river.

Atelier de platinage qui fonctionne en automne 1842. Il est fermé en 1978.

This plating workshop opened in 1842 (autumn)  and closed in 1978.

Cet atelier fonctionne en automne 1843 et regroupe au départ le platinage et les opérations en aval. Il est fermé en 1965.

Cet atelier de platinage et d'étirage fonctionne dès le premier trimestre 1848. Il est fermé en 1983. Il abritait un martinet et une aiguiserie, ainsi que des logements.

This workshop dedicated to the plating and the drawing out of the scythes opened in 1848 and closed in 1983.

En écho à Victor Considérant, qui nomme " La Réunion " son projet au Texas en 1854, Pierre-Frédéric Dorian appellera le sien " l'Alliance " en 1857. La Société Dorian-Holtzer-Jackson et Cie produit jusqu'à 400.000 faux par an dans la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle. La dernière faux est sortie en 1998.

In reference to Victor Considérant, who called his project in Texas " la Réunion " in 1854, Pierre-Frédéric Dorian called his project the " Alliance " in 1857. The Company Dorian-Holtzer-Jackson and Cie manufactured up to four hundred thousand scythes per year at the beginning of the nineteenth century. The last scythe is produced in 1998.

Atelier d'aiguisage en 1868, transformé en 1911 en usine de fourches.

This grinding workshop opened in 1868, turned into a pitchfork factory at the beginning of the twentieth century (1911).

Construction de deux centrales électriques en 1902 et 1922 : signe de progrès social, l'électricité arrive dans la cité, précédant ainsi de nombreuses grandes villes.
Ce site abrite également un atelier de platinage de faucilles qui fonctionne de 1886 au début des années 1950. C'est le premier à fermer.

The building of two power stations in 1903 and 1922 was a sign of progress, as electricity appeared in Pont-Salomon, before many major towns.
